  17. <p>     What's wrong with this picture? Plenty, according to
  18. seven-eighths of the women in it. Not that high-fashion model
  19. in the middle, Linda Evangelista, but the Sicilian seniors
  20. arranged about her on a billboard overlooking Times Square.
  21. Though the Kenar clothing ad memorializes AIDS victims
  22. (represented by the empty chair), Evangelista's angry co-models
  23. say the good deed was built on bad faith. The women of the
  24. hillside village of Savoca say they were paid about $15 each to
  25. pose with Evangelista (said to earn up to $25,000 a day), but
  26. thought the photo would only battle a disease, not promote a
  27. fashion label as well. The Savoca Seven are preparing a very
  28. American response: a lawsuit.
